Hope Community Church welcomes a new Christian education staff person.

Mitchell B. Hannafius, LMSN, is a licensed clinical social worker with a master of social work degree from Western Michigan University. He brings a wide range of skills and talents to Hope.

Hannafius will oversee the Christian education of Hope Community Church from the nursery through fifth grade as well as college age and adult Bible studies and electives.

“Hannafius has a wonderful heart for God and for people,” the church stated. “He will be a fantastic addition to the staff of this fast growing ministry that continues to hold out hope to the hurting and searching families in Niles and the surrounding area.”

Hannafius has been married to his wife, Susan, for 17 years. They have five children: Jack, Jon, Andrew, Caleb and Grace.
