The Niles Service League is holding its third annual Crop for a Cause, a scrapbooking fundraiser, Feb. 17 from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. at the Niles Senior Center.

The cost to attend the all-day scrapbooking party is $30 or two registrations for $50. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are provided with door prizes throughout the day.

All proceeds of the event go to the Niles Service League, which will give it to children in need in the community. Money goes toward scholarships, school supplies and winter clothing for children.

“It’s basically a day without distractions,” event organizer April Meek said. “It’s a good chance for women to get together and be creative plus help kids who need extra assistance.”
