Super Lawyers: Roger and Kelly Myers repeat prestigious award

Roger L. Myers, former Dowagiac resident and 1985 Union High School high honors graduate, and his wife, Kelly, were recently selected as 2009 Michigan Super Lawyers.
Mr. and Mrs. Myers are partners in the law firm, Myers and Myers, PLLC, located in Howell.

They both graduated from the University of Detroit-Mercy Law School in 1992 and 1993, respectively.

The Super Lawyer award is a distinction accorded the top 5 percent of attorneys in the state as chosen by their peers and through the independent research of Law and Politics magazine.

Michigan Super Lawyers 2009 is based on a survey of more than 30,000 attorneys across the state who have been in practice for five years or more.

Law and Politics performs the polling, research and selection of Super Lawyers who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement.

Mr. Myers specializes in business litigation, real estate and zoning and land-use law.
Mrs. Myers specializes in bankruptcy and creditor rights, banking and real estate law.
Roger was previously named a Super Lawyer in 2007 and 2008.

Kelly was named a Super Lawyer in 2008.

Roger is the son of Gabe and Jo Ann Myers of Dowagiac.

He and his wife are the parents of three daughters and one son.

They reside in the Brighton area.
