The No. 3 and No. 4 doubles teams of Austin Searles and Josh Boger, along with Dan Blank and Nick Wright, also finished second.

Winning matches for the Bobcats were Jake Fiero, Jeremy Zimmerman, Buck Bourdon and Tyler Hartman.

“I was real happy with our play today,” Brandywine coach David Sidenbender said. “Especially No. 1 doubles, who came a break and or a tiebreak in the third set from winning their flight. Also, Jake Fiero and Jeremy Zimmerman each earned their first wins at one and two singles after just being moved up.”
