The first day of school for students attending the Dowagiac Union Schools for the 2009-2010 school year is Tuesday, Sept. 8.

The first day will be a full day of school.

Transportation will be provided for all bus students except kindergarten.

Parents are responsible for kindergarten transportation on the first day only.

Kindergarten parents will be notified regarding the first day prior to school.

You will be receiving a post card in the mail indicating student routing information.

If you do not receive a post card, please call the transportation department at 782-4482 for the information.

Parents who are unsure of the school their child will attend may call the district administrative offices at 782-4400 for assistance or the nearest school.
