To the editor:
Helping Hands of Cass County has proudly served residents of Cass County for the past 25 years. Our mission is to provide assistance to residents of Cass County with food and clothing when they have an emergency. Our services also include limited assistance with utility bills and prescription medicine.
Our thrift shop is open Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Our phone number is (269) 445-8104, and we are located at 130 South Broadway in downtown Cassopolis.
We will gladly accept your donations, but please be considerate when donating items. Any items that are soiled, torn, mildewed or moldy, cannot be accepted. These items are not desirable to our customers or clients and unfortunately have to be disposed of. We ask that you call prior to dropping items off, especially with winter approaching. Our back dock is not weather proof, nor theft proof. Items left unattended are often ruined by water run-off from the roof, or are stolen.
Your donations are very important to our organization because the sale of your donated items helps us to keep our community support programs active.
Thank you for your continued support of our mission.
