Miss Dowagiac Shelby Willis, an assistant Sunday school teacher at Keeler Church of God, helped to kick off this year’s Vacation Bible School, Son Rock.

Shelby is an active member of the Keeler Church of God, and regularly helps as a Sunday school assistant and as a participant during their visits to the Cass County Medical Care Facility.

All of the children and teachers really enjoy having Shelby as part of this fun-filled event.
This three-day VBS was for children of all ages, and they learned about keeping Jesus as the Rock of our lives.

The children engaged in stories, songs, crafts, snacks, games and lunch daily.
This year Miss Dowagiac, along with the Keeler Church of God teachers, even did the hokey pokey, demonstrating how “you give your heart to Jesus and He turns your life around, and THAT’S what it’s all about!”

If you want to give your heart to Jesus, learn more about VBS, Sunday services or their community outreach program, please contact Boyd Saylor at (269) 424-5862 or visit on Sundays at 10 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. Keeler Church of God is located at 61789 C.R. 687, Dowagiac.
