Branham earns therapist certification

The Norton School of Lymphatic Therapy recently recognized Heather Branham of Niles as a Certified Lymphedema Therapist (CLT), a designation that signifies expertise in the treatment of pathologies related to the lymphatic system. As an occupational therapist at Lakeland Rehabilitation Services at Longmeadow in Niles, Branham will use this certification to treat southwest Michigan residents with lymphedema.

Branham earned both the Bachelor of Science and Master in Occupational Therapy degrees from Eastern Michigan University. As part of her formal training, she has held internships at Origami Brain Injury Rehabilitation Center in Lansing and at the University of Michigan Health System. Branham also has experience working with seniors at Heartland Health Care Center in Ann Arbor.
