EDWARDSBURG – The next meeting of the Uptown Improvement Association will be held at the office of Carmi Design on Cass Street at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 26.

The Association has been instrumental in installing banners along the main streets, putting Sit A Bit benches along US 12, painting an E on the sidewalks, contributing to Santa’s visitation at the Fire Station, installing the Community Christmas tree and participating in the US 12 Yard Sale.

Future events are in the planning stages.

The Association has been in existence for two years and promoting the Edwardsburg area is one of the focuses of the group.

All interested in helping are invited to attend the meeting.
