Eric J. Foust, 47, of Niles, died in his home on Saturday evening, Aug. 8, 2009.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, Aug. 13, at 10 a.m. with funeral services at noon at Bubb Funeral Chapel, North Main Street, Mishawaka, Ind.

Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery.

He was born in South Bend and spent his entire life in Niles. He was a graduate of Brandywine High School.

He worked 14 years in the machine shop and steel shop at Dodge Manufacturing (Rockwell) in Mishawaka, Ind. He then went to truck driving school. After completing the school, until very recently, he worked at SER in Mishawaka, Ind.

He is survived by his father, Lloyd and stepmother Rosina Foust of Elkhart, Ind.
Additional surviving family include sisters, Elaine (Bob) Griffith of Niles and Kathy (Jim) Young of Branch; brothers, Don Foust of Norfolk, Va. and Hudson Foust of Elkhart, Ind.; stepsisters, Mutinia Phiri of South Africa, Africa, Moonga Mwiinga of Zambia, Africa and Chinyama Munakampe of Elkhart, Ind; several nieces and nephews, as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Juanita Foust; a son, Austin Foust and his grandparents, Clare and Irene Hayden and Clara Foust.
