Katherine Luetta Yoder , 52, of Buchanan died Wednesday, Aug. 5, 2009, died at Lakeland Medical Center Niles.

The memorial service will be at noon, Tuesday, Aug. 11, 2009 at Faith Victory Fellowship in Buchanan. Pastor David Mitchell will officiate.

She was born to Jack and Joan (Cummings) Wright on July 24, 1957 in Niles.
In 1974, she married James Yoder in Niles, who survives.

Also surviving are children, Kristina Yoder of Hobart, Ind. and Keith Yoder of Buchanan; her father, Jack Wright; sisters, Pam Wright of Niles and Lois (Cliff) Yoder of Edwardsburg; and one grandchild, Avery Yoder.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Joan Wright.

Katherine graduated from Niles High School in 1975. She volunteered for 16 years at the Pregnancy Care Center in Niles and then continued to run the hotline from her home for a number of years. She was a devoted Christian, wife and mother.
