The 16U Great Lakes Lightning went 35-9 for the season.

The Lightning took first place three times, second place once and fourth place at ASA State Tournament.

The team just returned from ASA/USA Nationals in South Dakota with a 2-3 record facing teams from Texas, Florida, California and Oklahoma.

The Lightning’s success attracted attention from many college coaches. Raechel Zahrn has verbally committed to Central Michigan University and Rachel Zwar at Eastern Michigan University.

Several other players are being recruited by other Division I and Division II colleges.
