Johnnie E. Colom, 56, of Edwardsburg, died on Tuesday, July 28, 2009, at his home, after an illness.

The Service of Remembrance was on Friday, July 31, at 10 a.m. at the Harris Prairie Church of Christ, Granger, Ind., with Pastor Larry Williams, officiating.

Interment followed at Edwardsburg Cemetery, Edwardsburg, with Military Rites by the United States Air Force Honor Guard.

He was an active volunteer in the Edwardburg-Ontwa Township Police Community Policing unit for many years.

Memorial donations may be made to Hospice At Home, 4025 Health Park Lane, St. Joseph, MI 49085.

Arrangements were by the Paul E. Mayhew Funeral Home, Edwardsburg.
