BUCHANAN – The Tin Shop in Buchanan seeks seven men and two to four women, ages 18 to 70, for its production of the Steve Martin comedy, “Picasso at the Lapin Agile.”

The show imagines a chance meeting of Albert Einstein and Pablo Picasso in a Parisian cafe in 1904, just before the scientist transformed physics with his theory of relativity and the legendary painter set the art world on fire with the introduction of cubism.

Auditions will take place at the theater on Saturday, Aug. 1 from 1 to 4 p.m. and Sunday, Aug. 2, from 2 to 4 p.m.

The show will open on Sept. 10 and will run for six performances through Sept. 20.
