Summer reading continues through Aug. 7

BUCHANAN – The Buchanan District Library is now observing these summer hours:
Monday-Friday – 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Saturday – 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
We will go back to our regular hours on Sept. 8.
Summer Reading continues at the library until Aug. 7.

Wednesday, July 29 at 1 p.m. – All ages
African Art – stories and crafts

Thursday, July 30
10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Aquarium Magnets
1 to 2 p.m.
Kids’ Wii Time at the library-ages 2-9.

Friday, July 31
10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Rhythm Sticks-Make a fun musical instrument.
Butterfly Clips-a pretty project.
2 to 4 p.m.
Jack Knight Café-ages 10-17-crafts, snacks, and the Wii!

Monday, Aug. 3
2 p.m.
The library will be showing the movie “Hotel for Dogs.” Popcorn and lemonade will be served for free.

Tuesday, Aug. 4
10:30 a.m.
Preschool Story Time-What Can You Do With a Box?-stories, crafts, and snacks.
2 to 4 p.m.
Jack Knight Café-ages 10-17-crafts, snacks, and the Wii!

Wednesday, Aug. 5 at 1 p.m. – all ages
The Citadel Dancers will perform.

Thursday, Aug. 6
1 to 2 p.m.
Kids’ Wii Time at the library-ages 2-9.

Friday, Aug. 7
10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Open-ended art-Use your imagination to make anything you like!
2 to 4 p.m.
