The engagement of Gracie Marguerite Leach of Astoria, N.Y. and Noah Matthew Coston of Astoria, N.Y. is announced. The couple are planning a wedding on Aug. 8, 2009, at Tiscornia Beach, St. Joseph.
Jeff Brand will officiate and the bride will be given in marriage by her mother, Pam Allston.
The bride-to-be is a graduate of Edwardsburg High School, and Western Michigan University (BA). She is a writer.
The prospective groom is the son of James and Meredith Coston of Kalamazoo.
He is a graduate of Central High School, and Western Michigan University (BA/MA), and is a teacher.
Maid-of-honor will be Jenna Marcum, Plymouth.
Bridesmaids include Caitlin Allston, Edwardsburg, Michelle Duquet, Whitmore Lake, Maria Karadimos, Detroit and Jenna Marcum, Plymouth.
Flower girls will be Rachel Finkle of Eureka, Calif., Bailey Pearson, Edwardsburg, and Sofia Coston, Kalamazoo.
Ring bearer will be Spencer Christian, Springsboro, Ohio.
Best men are Adam Coston, Kalamazoo and Daniel Coston, Kalamazoo.
Groomsmen will be Nate Cooper, Grand Rapids and Ben Smith, Grand Rapids.
A reception will be held at the Blue Dress Barn in Millburg with music/entertainment by: DJ Bean.
A wedding trip will take the couple to Jamaica.
