Hospice 2009 fundraiser taking off

Hospice Care of Southwest Michigan launches its 16th annual Take Off with Hospice raffle.
Top prizes include a Lake Michigan getaway package which includes a two-night stay at the Carriage House Bed and Breakfast and dinner at Tello Italian Bistro in South Haven; a Harbor Country getaway package that includes a two-night stay at the Rabbit Run Inn in Sawyer and dinner at the Four Winds Casino Resort in New Buffalo; and the traditional hot air balloon ride for two. There are many more prizes available.
Only 3,000 tickets will be sold.
Winning tickets will be drawn at the Dowagiac Summer in the City Festival at noon, Saturday, July 25.
Ticket holders need not be present to win.
Tickets are still just $5 each or six for $25 and are available in Dowagiac at The Marshall Shoppe, The Hairitage, Wood Fire Italian Trattoria, Imperial Furniture and the Dowagiac Area Federal Credit Union, in Marcellus at The Marcellus News Office, in Decatur at First State Bank and in Paw Paw at Hill's Prescription Shop.
Proceeds from this annual fundraiser help Hospice Care of Southwest Michigan continue its mission of caring for all those in southwest Michigan counties who are coping with serious illness, with dying and with loss.
As a non-profit community agency, Hospice Care of Southwest Michigan accepts clients based on their need for care – not their ability to pay.
