Wolverines third in standings

The St. Joe Kickers Premier continues to lead the Blossomland Soccer League's First Division.
The Kickers are 8-0-1 on the year and had 25 points.
Whirlpool United is second in the standings with a 7-3-1 record and 21 points. The Niles Wolverines are third with a 6-3-2 mark and 20 points.
Rounding out the standings are Athletic Jaier (6-3-1, 19 points), Tornados (2-5-3, 9 points), Diamonds United (2-7-2, 5 points) and Barcelona (0-10-0, 0 points).
St. Stephens Villains are the top team in the Second Division with a record of 9-1-0 and 27 points.
Real Dowagiac is second with a mark of 7-1-1 and 22 points, while P&R FC are 6-4-0 with 18 points.
Rounding out the order are Buchanan FC (5-4-1, 18 points), Dowagiac Dawgs (3-6-0, 16 points), Red Arrow FC (2-7-0, 9 points) and St. Joe Kickers Reserve (0-9-0, 0 points).
Andy Low of the Niles Wolverines leads the league in scoring with 12 goals.
Whirlpool United's Manolis Anagnostou has eight goals, while Tony Black (Kickers Premier) and Jason Girvan (Kickers Premier) are tied for third with seven goals.
Athletic Jaier's Clay Hewitt and Alex Boehm are tied for fifth with six goals, along with Aden Kamala of Diamonds United and Emmanuel Santana of Barcelona. Three other players are tied with five goals.
