To the editor:
Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! For putting that picture of our flag in the Daily Star yesterday. My husband and I noticed that the other day when we went for a ride.
The condition of that flag was disgraceful.
Our downtown area is so beautiful now with all the flowers and all the repairs. But some of our flags look awful.
Especially for our country's celebration of the 4th. You'd think someone would have put up another flag or at least, take that one down. Thanks Gerald Marshall for taking that picture, we thought about it too … but you followed through.
"Happy 4th of July!" Don't forget the "Fireworks!!"
