On Saturday, July 4th, citizens concerned about the unrestrained growth in the size and scope of government will rally to promote individual liberty, free market ideals and Constitutional principles.
Michiana Independence Day Tea Party Rally, a "Revolution Reborn" to be held at the Amphitheater in Niles at Front and Main streets from 9:30 until 11 a.m.
The rally is a follow up on the recent Tax Day Tea Parties.
The goal of the rally is to provide a platform for citizens and grassroots/netroots leaders to come together to inspire participation in the growing movement for a return to constitutional principles with a focus on recruiting and supporting candidates at all levels, who are dedicated to limited government, individual liberty and free market principles
It is about out of control taxing and spending by both parties, and the overreaching authority of the Feds.
Elected officials with a message for "reducing spending" are invited to speak.
