Astros to face Giants in Junior Division final

The Astros and Giants will play for first place in the Greater Niles Baseball League's Junior Division on Thursday at Thomas Stadium.
The Astros defeated the Indians 10-4 to eliminate them from the post season.
The Astros also defeated the Giants 9-8 and the Cubs 12-8.
The Cubs and the Rangers will play on Thursday for third place.

The Astros improved 5-8 with the victory.
Jacob Oates had two hits, while Tyler Bybee and Austyn Zimmerman both singled and drove in two runs.
The Astros also got a single and a RBI from Derek Scott.
James Krause struck out nine and allowed five hits in picking up the victory.
The Indians finish at 4-9.
Sean Morgan and Blaine Myers split pitching duties. They allowed five hits and fanned 10.
Brian Kline singled twice for the Indians, who also got hits from Austin Webber and Morgan. Josh Bell singled and drove in a run.

The Astros withstood a late rally to hold off the Giants, who will take a 10-3 make into Thursday's title game.
Scott and Bybee combined on an eight-hitter with four strikeouts.
Bybee also singled twice and doubled. Kale Pollard added a pair of hits for the Astros.
Steven Smith, Josh Youngman and Alec Brown contributed hits.
Jordan Griffen and Alec Landon both doubled and singled for the Giants.
Fritz Findeisen also had a double, while Mike Geiger had two hits.
Nicholas Zimmerman and Landon both pitched for the Giants, striking out a combined four batters.

Scott had a single and a double for the Astros, who also got a triple from Smith.
Krause, Brown, Larry Hungersford, Jordan Lintz and Austyn Zimmerman all contributed singles.
Dakota McDonald had a double and a single for the Cubs, who are 5-7.
Eric Gaedtke, Evan Hartman and Jake Brentlinger each had a hit.
