The Niles Post Office will open at 8 a.m. and close at noon on Friday, July 3, to enable retail employees to spend more time with their families. The last collection for mail deposited in blue collection boxes will also be at noon on that day.
All collection points that have a regularly scheduled collection time prior to noon on Friday, July 3 will be collected as scheduled.
Regular mail delivery for July 3 will be unaffected by the change. P.O. Box mail access will only be available until noon in those Post Offices where retail counters and access to Post Office Boxes are co-located and are affected by early retail closing.
Post office retail counters will be closed on Saturday, July 4, Independence Day which is a federal holiday and there will be no mail delivery.
Regular hours will resume on Monday, July 6.
