Niles' Mikie Simpson and Brandywine's Jesse McCombs have both been named to the Michigan High School Baseball Coaches Association All-State team.
Simpson was a Division 2 first team selection, while McCombs was picked for the Division 3 squad.
Both players had teammates make the second team squads.
David Garner was a second team pick in Division 2 and Dan Reidenbach a second team selection in Division 3.
Simpson was selected as an outfielder, but he excelled on the mound as well for the Vikings, who finished the year at 25-4.
Simpson hit .511 with 12 doubles, five triples, four home runs and 43 RBIs.
On the mound, Simpson went 9-1 with an earned run average of 1.48 with 91 strikeouts.
McCombs, named to the infield, hit .474 with 45 stolen bases.
Garner was also a dual standout for the Vikings, which landed him on the second team as a utility player.
Garner was 6-2 on the hill with an ERA of 1.47, while he batted .467 with five doubles, seven triples, two home runs and 31 RBIs.
Reidenbach played multiple positions for the Bobcats as well, but was named to the second team as a pitcher.
This past season he was 7-0 on the mound before suffering an injury. He had an ERA of 0.86 and also had a pair of saves. At the plate, Reidenbach hit .449 with 31 RBIs.
