I read that Jelinek, Proos and Tyler have given up some pay.
"Two out of three of our State Representatives give up part of their salary, to match those employees of the State of Michigan that were asked to take six days off during the summer months without pay. A request made by the governor. I am commending these two for giving up pay.
The other State Representative mentioned in the article Proos is giving his six days pay as a donation to education funds. My hats off to him for using his mind to benefit his own finance, by donating he will be able to deduct that amount for his taxes. WOW! Did he save the State any money? Some politicians think that Johnny Q Public are stupid. Here shows to me that some politicians are only looking at their own financial gains, by taking those offices, and not the public."
