Applications for the 2009 Four Flags Area Apple Festival, Jr. Miss and Miss are available on line at fourflagsapplefestival.org. Registrations are due by July 14.
This year is different than the past in that the winner of the pageant this year will go on to compete in Miss Michigan Teen or Miss Michigan USA depending on her age.
The Four Flags Area Apple Festival Miss Apple Festival Pageant has been chosen as a recruiter for the 2011 Miss Michigan Teen USA pageant and Miss Michian USA pageant. This pageant then leads the young lady to the Miss USA or Miss Teen USA Pageant.
Depending on the age of our 2009 Miss Apple Festival that will determine what pageant she will participate in September 2010 for the Miss Michigan/ Teen Pageant.
They will still compete with the same criteria at the Apple Festival Pageant but will be judged knowing that they will compete in evening gown, interview and swimsuit at the Miss Michigan USA/ Teen Pageant the following year.
he entry fees and registration fees will be paid by the Apple Festival as a part of here prize package and we will hold fundraisers over the next year to help us achieve these additional fees. This is a great honor to the Four Flags Apple Festival to be asked to be a recruiter pageant and this is a great opportunity for the young ladies in the Four Flags Area.
