The engagement of Rhonda Bevins of Bristol, Ind. and Craig Cheney of Elkhart, Ind. is announced.
Their wedding is planned for 2:30 p.m. on Aug. 1, 2009, at Bethel Tabernacle, Niles.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Booker, Jr. and Sandra Bevins, of Bristol, Ind.
She graduated from Concord Elkhart Baptist, and Indiana University South Bend in 2007
She is employed by Goshen Community Schools.
The prospective groom is the son of Louella Cheney of Niles and the late William Cheney.
He graduated from Niles Community Schools in 1992
He works at the Elkhart Public Library.
