CASSOPOLIS – Barn Swallow Theatre presents a hilarious mystery for your enjoyment titled "It's Murder in the Wings."
The play written by Pat Cook and directed by Alan Sawyer will be presented at Southwestern Michigan College, in Dowagiac on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, June 11, 12, and 13 at 8 p.m. and Sunday, June 14 at 4 p.m.
The play centers around the offices of the Wings Publishing Company where the editor and three office girls are preparing for a contract signing party with a famous author that will insure a substantial loan urgently needed to save the company. When the host and owner of the company is discovered to have met an untimely death, the staff tries to keep the murder under wraps until the contracts have been signed. Where to hide the body? Who had access to the boss's office? The arrival of a reporter, a television crew, a hack writer, an actress turned caterer, the late boss's new fiance, a janitor who packs a gun, the famous author, and the bank official are all under suspicion.
