Decision doesn’t consider town

I cannot believe that a Corp. would close down a facility that is-was making profit, especially in this economy. UTC and Hill Phoenix don't realize the impact this is going to have on the employees not to mention our community. The city's revenue alone from Tyler's will have to be replaced from somewhere, so the people who own homes will probably face higher property taxes. There goes the incentive for anyone who wanted to possibly come to our area and buy a home. Soon us employees will not have insurance coverage so, what do we do if medical attention is needed for our families? Where do we go, where do we turn? Soon our local business's will suffer due to families with limited incomes not shopping or eating at their restaurants. Christmas here in Niles for our children and grandchildren is going to be quite minimal this year and most likely for many years to come. Tyler's will surely be missed because it has been an institution here in Niles for many decades, by present employees and the hundreds of employees that worked there over the 100 years it has been here. It's a sad day when Corporations can turn a blind eye to what there corporate decisions have done to communities with no remorse.
