Mildred "Millie" O. Anders-Hibbard, 92, of Gilbert Avenue in Niles, passed away at Country Living Assisted Care Home in Niles on Thursday, May 28, 2009.
A time of visitation was held on Sunday, May 31, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Mission Hills Memorial Chapel with a service today, Monday, June 1 at 11 a.m.
She will be interred at Mission Hills Memorial Gardens in the Garden of Christus.
Millie was born on June 2, 1916 to the late Otha and Lettie (Fetters) Craig in Lewis County, Ky. She was one of nine children growing up in the Craig household.
She wed Edward Hibbard at a ceremony in Dowagiac on June 19, 1982.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Edward; parents; brothers Everett, Walter, Ermel and Jake "Willie" Craig and sisters Flossie Crowder, Mae Haun, Florence Osborne and Beulah Vance.
She is survived by her children, Darrell (Trudy) Mackey of Dowagiac and Robin (Ron) Kent of Dowagiac, four grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and three step-great-grandchildren.
