Wanda J. Helminiak, 90, of Elyria, Ohio, died May 21, 2009, at the home of her daughter in Elyria.
The family will receive friends Saturday, July 4, from 10 a.m. until the time of the 11 a.m. memorial Mass at Divine Providence Church, 2600 Mayfair Ave., Westchester, Ill.
She was born Oct. 13, 1918, in Milwaukee, Wis. She also lived in Dowagiac and Niles, Westchester, Ill. and Brunswick, Ohio before moving to Elyria in 2001.
Wanda is survived by sons, Michael J. (Jayne) Helm of Charleston, S. C.; Mark J. (Linda) Helminiak of West Chicago, Ill.; daughters, Mary Ann (John) Vargo of Elyria, Ohio; and Monica (Brian) McGuire of Sylvania, Ohio; six grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren and brother, Chester Marcyn of Westchester, Ill.
She was preceded in death by her husband Elmer F. in 2001.
Arrangements were by Dicken Funeral Home, Elyria, Ohio.
