Class of 2009 graduates 144

The Edwardsburg High School Class of 144 graduates gathered together to accept their high school diplomas on Sunday May 24, 2009.
In the gymnasium of the Edwardsburg High School, with more than 300 family and guests attending, they marched in with proud smiles and obtained the memory of their graduation day that will last a lifetime.
This year's Valedictorian, Lauren Clark told her fellow graduates, "Graduation is not just about celebrating the past, but it is the celebration of our community efforts that makes each student's success a possibility."
Jared Hanstra, Co-Salutatorian Class of 2009, shared, "Today marks the final time we gather together as one."
Sarah Khan, Co-Salutatorian Class of 2009, encouraged her classmates with, "Don't ever give up or give in, for you never know when opportunity will strike."
Donald E. Quimby, Edwardsburg High School principal, quoted his favorite inspirational words from Christian D. Larson, titled "Promise Yourself."
The Honorable Judge Susan L. Dobrich, alumni of Edwardsburg High School, Class of 1972, quoted Notre Dame Coach Lou Holtz in her speech by saying, life is 10 percent what happens to you, and 90 percent of how you respond to it.
