Kickers Premier now 3-0 in Blossomland

The St. Joe Kickers Premier soccer team increased its record to 3-0 last night as they beat previously undefeated Whirlpool United 3-1.
The score was even at the half 0-0.
Tony Black scored first off a penalty kick in the second half.
After Whirlpool (4-1) scored to tie the match, Black found net again with a bicycle kick, which was to be the winning goal.
After a flurry of yellow and red cards later in the half, the Kickers' Andrew Girvan sealed the deal with a header off a John Radke shot on goal.
The Kickers (3-0) get a break in action with their next match scheduled against a Niles based team the Wolverines on Thursday, June 4.
Kickoff is set for 6:30 at the Kickers Sport Club located on Arden road out side of Berrien Springs.
In other Blossomland Soccer action, Athletic Jaier defeated the Tornados 4-1 and Real Dowagiac blanked P&R FC 5-0.

Octavio Hernandez had a pair of goals for Dowagiac, which also got goals from Mario Veloz, Miguel Reyes and Cesar Garcia.
Dowagiac is now 3-1 on the year, while P&R drops to 1-3.

Alex Boehm had two goals for Jaier, which also got goals from Clay Hewitt and Ryan Robinson.
Levi Miller had the lone goal for the Tornados.
Jaier is now 1-1 on the season, while the Tornados fall to 1-2-1.
