Dowagiac senior Andrew Hurrle will continue his football career at Albion College announced Chieftain coach Mike Stanger.
Hurrle was a two-year starter at linebacker and offensive lineman for the Chieftains, who qualified for the state playoffs both years.
Hurrle also served as a team captain this past season and was a first team All-Wolverine Conference pick.
Hurrle is expected to play either linebacker or convert to a fullback for the Brits according to Stanger.
He will major in secondary education with a focus on math and science.
Hurrle will get a chance to play against former teammates Kyle Bailey and Ryan Casey, both of whom are at Trine University.
Former Chieftains Rob Duzsynski and Schuyler File both completed their four years at Kalamazoo and Hillsdale College this past fall.
