Nearly 300 parents, grandparents, relatives and friends watched as over 200 children hunted for about 3,000 eggs in Berrien County Civitan's Annual Easter Egg Hunt. The children enthusiastically spread across four sites in search of eggs filled with candies, toys, gift certificates and Gold Dollar tickets.
Prizes were donated by Walmart, Paris Soda Shop, Niles Eagles, Niles DDA and Berrien County Civitan Club. The assistance and generosity of these businesses and organizations is greatly appreciated.
The Golden egg winners ($25 Gold Dollars) were, ages 1-2 Javier Mason; ages 3-4, Brady Roberts; ages 5-7, Riley Evert; and ages 8-10, Dominich Gregory.
Special thanks to Easter Bunny Carol Gayle and helper, Geri Kozak. Also, the support given by the City of Niles Police and Fire Departments helped to make this event another annual success!
