Miss Iris Margarita Gomez Calderon of Santa Tecla, El Salvador, is engaged to be married this summer at Glenwood Seventh-day Adventist Church to Charles Middaugh of 22660 Dewey Lake St., Dowagiac.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Pablo Gomez and Iris de Gomez of Santa Tecla.
She graduated from Spencer High School in San Salvador in 2001 and attended El Salvador's national university. She teaches elementary school.
Parents of the prospective groom are Allen and Patsy Middaugh of 51106 Glenwood Road, Dowagiac.
Chuck graduated from Southwestern Michigan College in 2000 and from Andrews Academy in 1997.
He is employed as an automotive technician.
