Michael Leach, 59, of Big Oak Valley, Calif., died Monday, March 23. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
The son of Robert and Betty Leach, Michael was born on Dec. 25, 1949 in Benton Harbor. He attended Bella Vista High School in Citrus Heights and graduated from Brandywine High School in Niles in 1968.
A member of the United States Military, Leach served his country from 1970-1971. He was an employee for the Road Commission of the City of Niles and worked for the County of Nevada and San Jacinto Calif.
Leach was preceded in death by his grandparents, Carl and Rena Winebrenner and DeForest and Cecil Leach.
He is survived by his parents in Penn Valley Calif., his brothers, Patrick (Susan) Leach of Athol Id., and Timothy (Barbara) Leach of Stonyford, Calif.; sister Peggy (Dale) Eslick of Penn Valley; nephews Jeremy (Christina) Eslick, Shawn Leach, Robbie Eslick and Gary Moorek; nieces Colleen Leach, Marie Eslick, Ashley Leach and Amy Leach; great-nephews Austin and Braydon Eslick and great-niece Riley Eslick.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
Arrangements are being made by Hooper and Weaver Mortuary Inc., of Grass Valley, Calif.
