Gladys "Freddie" Perrin, 68, of Chippewa Street, Buchanan, died at 9:53 a.m. Tuesday, March 10, 2009, at West Woods of Niles, following a long illness.
Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. Monday, March 16, at Halbritter Funeral Home, Niles. Pastor James Wing of First Baptist Church will officiate.
Friends may call one hour prior to services at the funeral home Monday.
She was born on March 11, 1940, at Adamsville, Ala., to Lonny "Budge" Lowrance and Georgia Oetta Day Lowrance.
She lived most of her life in Niles, coming from Alabama. She was a former employee of Buchanan Steel.
She enjoyed fishing, playing cards and going to flea markets. She loved her dogs, Lucy and Sarah.
On June 23, 1959, in Alabama, she married Larry N. Perrin, who survives.
Surviving family include two daughters, Kellee J. Gentry of South bend, Ind. and Etta Lynn Yazell of Niles; a son, John P. Perrin of Phoenix, Ariz.; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and a brother, Jessie Lowrance.
Arrangements were by Halbritter Funeral Home, Niles.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Beatrice Dockery and two brothers, Rossie Lowrance and Roy Lowrance.
