CASSOPOLIS – March 4, 9, 11, 18, 23, 25 and 30, Mondays and Wednesdays: Lunch and bingo at Lincoln Center, 405 Division St., Dowagiac.
Lunch begins at noon and may be reserved a day ahead of time by calling (800) 323-0390 or (269) 445-8110.
Discounts available for those over 60. Bingo begins at 1.
March 3, 10, 17, 24 and 31, Tuesdays: Chess and euchre clubs.
Get together with friends for these two popular games.
Chess, 11 a.m.-2 p.m.
Euchre, 1-3 p.m.
March 4, 11, 18 and 25, Wednesdays: Jazzercise. Join instructor Cheri Collins for this fun and entertaining workout. $5 per session. 5:45 to 6:30 p.m.
March 4 and 18, Wednesdays: Hot breakfast. A variety of breakfast favorites are available to suit any taste, including eggs, any style, breakfast meat, potatoes, toast, juice and coffee. Continental breakfast served daily, 7:30 to 10 a.m.
March 5, Thursday: Medication drop-off. Bring in unused, expired or unwanted medications for proper disposal from 10 a.m. to noon.
Medications must be in their original containers and signed in when dropped off.
March 5, 12, 19 and 26, Thursdays: any body conditioning class.
Work on strength and toning using free weights with instructor Ron Christopher. 6 p.m.
March 6, 13, 20 and 27, Fridays: Knitting Club. Knitters of all skill levels are invited to join the group to share techniques, stories and fun while knitting items to donate to charity. 10 a.m.
March 9, Monday: Movies for Grown-ups. "The Secret Life of Bees" stars Queen Latifah, Dakota Fanning, and Jennifer Hudson.
Enjoy the film and free popcorn beginning at 1 p.m.
March 11, Wednesday: Alaska cruise preview.
Anyone interested in seeing Alaska by cruise should attend to hear about destinations, accommodations and costs. 11 a.m.
March 17, Tuesday: St. Patrick's Day Party. Irish entertainment, green beer (non-alcoholic) and Irish cuisine.
Lunch may be purchased for about $5, with discounts available for seniors. Noon.
March 21 and 28, Saturdays: Belly dancing class. Belly dancing strengthens core muscles and burns calories. Cheri Collins teaches this special six-week class. $5 per session. 10 a.m.
March 25, Wednesday: Caregivers support group.
Aimed at those taking care of ill or elderly loved ones, the group offers a chance for caregivers to discuss issues, coping strategies and gain support from others.
