Saturday
The Girl Scout International Food Festival is on Saturday from 1 to 3 p.m., Ring Lardner Middle School, 801 N. 17th St., Niles. Enjoy a taste of foods and cultures from around the world presented by your local Girl Scout Troops; $4 per person, under 5 free.
A Winter Bash for Niles High School Project Graduation will be held Saturday at St. Mary's Parish Hall. Live music of Blammo from 8 p.m. to Midnight. A Prehistoric Indian Artifact Show will be held in Benton Harbor at the Mendel Center on Yore Ave, on Sunday from 7 a.m.-3 p.m. For further information and table reservations call John Steimle at (269) 782-6728, or Fred Van Dyke at (616) 745-5700.
Tuesday
A "Shrove Tuesday" pancake and sausage dinner will be held at Trinity Episcopal Church, at the corner of Fourth and Broadway in Niles Tuesday from 5 to 9 p.m. Donations will be accepted at the door.
Wednesday
Ash Wednesday Observance – St. Mary of the Immaculate Conception Church, corner of Lincoln Avenue and State Street, on Wednesday. Mass with distribution of ashes will be celebrated at 8 a.m. At 12:10 p.m. there will be a Scripture Service along with distribution of ashes, and a Mass with ashes at 7 p.m.
