Robert Lee Frederick, 76, of Korn Street in Niles died at his home on Sunday, Feb. 15, 2009 after a lengthy battle with cancer.
Funeral services will take place today, Wednesday, Feb. 18, at Brown Funeral Home in Niles at 1 p.m. The Rev. William Waun will be officiating.
He was born on April 26, 1932 to the late Leonard and Dora (Mishler) Frederick in Foraker, Ind. He was one of two children in the Frederick household.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Leonard and Dora.
Surviving is his wife of 23 years, Ruby "Geri" (Lacy) Frederick; children Cynthia (William) Waun of Jacksonville, N. C., James (Betty) Frederick of Jewett City, Conn., Cheryl O'Brien of Goshen, Ind. and Debra (Tom Vick) Murray of Southern Shores, N. C., stepson Mike Klopfenstein of Niles and sister Bernadine Wise of California.
