NILES – Viola Kathryn "Katie" Guthrie, 80, of Deans Hill Road, Berrien Center, passed away at Lakeland Specialty Hospital on Friday, Jan. 23, 2009, with her family by her side.
At the age of 46 she attended college and became a Licensed Practical Nurse.
Funeral services to honor Katie's life will be held on Tuesday, Jan. 27, at Mission Hills Memorial Chapel at 3 p.m. with a time of visitation one hour prior.
Pastor Bob Jackson will be officiating.
Katie will be interred in the Veterans Garden at Mission Hills Memorial Cemetery in Niles.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Brown Funeral Home and Cremation Services and Mission Hills Memorial Chapel, Niles.
