Jan. 26 Dowagiac City Council agenda

Three public hearings anchor the Dowagiac CIty Council draft agenda released Thursday afternoon for the meeting at 7 p.m. Monday, Jan. 26, at City Hall, 241 S. Front St.
The council will be considering a new Industrial Facilities Exemption (IFT) for Creative Foam and declaring properties at 206 Florence St. and 109 Maple St. public nuisances.
Greater Dowagiac Chamber of Commerce asks permission to hold the 13th annual Ice Time Festival on Saturday, Feb. 7.
The city intends to extend a three-year contract with former grounds director Gary Carlile to continue as Municipal Airport manager and parks and cemetery consultant. Also appearing on the agenda is the Dial-a-Ride budget and payment of $338,580.72, including $181,782.82 for bills and $156,797.90 for payroll.
