CASSOPOLIS – Cass County Council on Aging's annual Fitness Challenge has expanded to help everyone keep their New Year's resolutions.
The Fitness Challenge will last six months.
Each month will begin a new contest to see which fitness room members spend the most time working out.
Each new month will also bring a new theme to help motivate and enliven participants.
New and renewing members can take advantage of the January special of an extra month free with the purchase of a three-month membership.
January's Hawaiian theme will help thaw the cold, and goes with the annual Luau that will be held in the COA dining room Jan. 22.
For February, it's Paris for Valentine's Day and it's off to Ireland for March.
April takes the workout to New York City, and Cinco de Mayo inspired the Mexican theme for May.
June, the month of weddings, will highlight Las Vegas.
The fitness room will be decorated to reflect the current theme.
Call (800) 323-0390 or (269) 445-8110 or stop by the COA fitness room to talk about your fitness goals and how to achieve them.
