City crews will be digging out fire hydrants as soon as they catch up on snow removal and there is a break in the weather.
In the meantime, any citizen assistance with the task would be "much appreciated," City Manager Kevin Anderson said Monday night.
"If something bad happens in the neighborhoods, we want the Fire Department to be able to respond quickly," Anderson said. "Fire hydrants covered with snow can put our neighborhoods at risk."
