This is Det. Sgt. Fred Laesch of the Berrien County Sheriff's Office for Crime Stoppers.
The crime of the week comes from the files of the Michigan State Police, Post 53.
On Nov. 30, 2008, at approximately 3 p.m., the Michigan State Police were dispatched to the 2200 block of W. River Road reference to two pop bottle bombs that had been placed into a mailbox.
Crime Stoppers wants the person or persons responsible for the pop bottle bombs and will pay up to $1,000 for information leading to their arrest.
Crime Stoppers also pays cash rewards on other felony crimes and the capture of fugitives.
