LANSING – The graduation ceremony for the 121st Michigan State Police Trooper Recruit School takes place Friday, Dec. 19, at 1 p.m.
During the ceremony, 83 members will be sworn in as MSP troopers by Col. Peter C. Munoz, MSP director.
The ceremony's keynote address will be given by Maj. Gen. Thomas G. Cutler, Michigan adjutant general.
More than 1,200 friends and family members are expected to attend.
Upon graduation, the new troopers will be assigned to MSP posts across the state.
Assigned to the Niles post are Ryan Codde of Marshall and James McGaffigan of Jackson.
