Cass falls in shoot out

The Cassopolis soccer team was eliminated from the Michigan High School Athletic Association tournament in a shoot out Monday evening.
The Rangers were defeated by visiting RiverValley 2-1.
It was the second time in less than a week that Cassopolis was defeated by River Valley by a 2-1 decision.
The Mustangs tied the match at 1-1 in the second half and then earned the victory with a 3-2 advantage in penalty kicks.
Marc File and Bly Carpenter scored in the shoot out for Cass.
River Valley hosted Michigan Lutheran in the semifinals on Wednesday.
The finals are slated for Saturday in Bridgman.
