Chester Stelmasiak, 91, of Brooksville, Fla., formerly of Dowagiac, died Sept.16, 2008.
He is survived by: his wife, Shirley; son Phil (wife Kay); four grandchildren; one great-grandson; and one sister, Mrs. Joseph Gould.
Born in Dowagiac March 1, 1917, Chet was a mail carrier for the Dowagiac Postal Service for more than 30 years and known to all as "Mr. Red."
Graveside services will be Thursday, Sept. 25, at Bushnell National Cemetery in Florida .
