Dowagiac falls to Vicksburg

Dowagiac played well against the one of the Wolverine Conference's best team Wednesday night.
The Chieftains held host Vicksburg to just a goal in the first half, but ended up on the wrong end of a 3-0 victory for the Bulldogs.
Corbin Decker netted the lone goal of the first half for Vicksburg as he scored in the 18th minute.
It took another 22 minutes into the second half before the Bulldogs would notch another goal.
Scott Schimp scored in the 62nd minute to make it a 2-0 contest in favor of the home team.
Vicksburg completed the scoring in the 75th minute as Andrew Muzljakovich scored.
Dowagiac was outshot by Vicksburg 13-9.
"They are a very big and talented team," Dowagiac coach Craig Black said. "Their back four win almost every ball."
