Janis Elaine Nieberding and Timothy Henry Kass of Peninsula, Ohio, were united in marriage on June 14, 2008, at the Library at the Sheraton Suites in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio.
Pastor Marshall Brandon of Hudson Community Chapel, Hudson, Ohio, officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Janis Louise (Schultz) Nieberding and the late Robert Francis Nieberding of Olmsted Falls, Ohio.
She is a graduate of Olmsted Falls High School in 1977, Olmsted Falls, Ohio and is a Licensed Practical Nurse at Cuyahoga Falls General Hospital, Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio.
The groom is the son of Alice Mary (Gutschenritter) Kass and the late Henry Christian Kass of South Barrett Street, Niles.
He graduated from Niles Senior High School in 1975 and Michigan State University (1979 – BS, Physiology); The University of Michigan (1980 – MS, Industrial Health); Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) since 1985 through the American Board of Industrial Hygiene; Certified Safety Professional (CSP) since 1998 through the Board of Certified Safety Professionals;
He is an Occupational Health &Safety Administrator for Chrysler LLC (for which he has worked since 1980 at several locations) currently at the Twinsburg Stamping Plant, Twinsburg, Ohio.
Junior Bridesmaid was Anya Elizabeth Kass (the bridegroom's youngest daughter) of Streetsboro, Ohio.
Music for the ceremony provided by Major Jason Alan Vitas, USAF (the bride's nephew) of Dayton, Ohio.
Best man was Brian D. Pack (the bride's youngest son) of Nashville, Tenn.
A brunch reception was held at The Library at the Sheraton followed by wedding cake, sparkling wine and coffee at the bride's and bridegroom's residence.
After a wedding trip to Freeport, Bahamas, the newlyweds reside at 4871 Lake View Drive, Peninsula, Ohio 44264.
